Lydia Dillingham

Lydia Dillingham is the owner and the in-house playwright for Southern Broadway Theater Co, LLC on Main Street in Enterprise, AL where she also serves as drama and musical director for the company (formed in 2010).  Lydia minored in music at Abilene Christian University and continued to be heavily involved in music and theater post-graduation, traveling, and performing with various groups in venues both state-side and abroad.  After graduating summa cum laude from Troy University in the 1990s, she then attended Faulkner Law (Jones) in Montgomery, AL and earned a J.D., and was a licensed attorney who practiced in both Mobile and Coffee County.  Although retired from active practice, she is currently employed at Enterprise State Community College as the Paralegal Program Coordinator and full-time faculty.  Having a long-time passion for the arts and creative writing she has written, co-written, and produced songs still available on various streaming platforms and has written and produced 36 stage plays to date.
