BOLL WEEVIL ART SHOW | Downtown Enterprise

CALLING ALL ARTISTS!

Create your own boll weevil to display during the Boll Weevil Block Party!

ALL art forms welcome -paint, sculpture, poetry, drawings & more!

Tickets will be sold to the community to vote for their favorite art piece while on display during the block party event.

There will be two categories: Ages 8 - 15 and Ages 16+

The winner in each category will receive the Unbollweevible Award and their piece will be displayed at City Hall for the months of June & July!

The LAST DAY to sign up to compete is Monday, May 1, 2023!

Proceeds earned will go to Main Street Enterprise to use for downtown beautification.

If you can dream it, YOU CAN ENTER IT!

We are so excited to see your creativity and to raise funds to bring more beauty to downtown!

ARTIST REGISTRATION FORM

How Will it Work?

Step 1:
Complete the Artist Registration Form

Artists will receive an invoice for $15 via e-mail once the form is received.

Step 2:
Show Prep

Artists will receive an e-mail before the event requesting size information for their art. All art must be dropped off (location TBD) on Thursday, 05/04 and the MSE Committee will handle set up.

Step 3:
Art Show & Competition

The MSE Committee will display the art pieces in Downtown Enterprise during the Boll Weevil Block Party. Each piece will have a jar placed next to it. The community can purchase tickets to place in the jar to vote on their favorite art piece.

Step 4:
Announcing Winners

Voting will end at 7:30PM. At 7:45PM, the MSE Committee will announce the winners of the Unbollweevable Awards. The winners will receive recognition at the event and will have their art displayed at City Hall for June & July.
