Main Street Enterprise Incubator

Main Street Enterprise recently received a downtown incubator to be placed downtown! The incubator is repurposed from a 8FT x 20FT shipping container and includes air conditioning, glass doors, two screened windows, a custom built desk, ceramic tile floors, adjustable shelves and more!

The incubator is provided by Main Street Alabama through a USDA Rural Development grant with the intention to have entrepreneurs occupy the container to test their small business in the market and eventually find a permanent brick and mortar in the downtown area.

The MSE Incubator currently has a tenant. Applications will continue to be accepted and applicants will be notified via e-mail when an opening becomes available.

Tenant Selection Process

Step 1:
Application Collection

Entrepreneurs can complete an application online to be considered to occupy the incubator for up to 90 days.

Step 2:
Application Vetting

The Main Street Enterprise Economic Vitality Committee will review all applications and collaborate to select a tenant.

Step 3:
Tenant Recommendation

The Main Street Enterprise Executive Director will present the selected tenant to the Enterprise City Council for approval.

Step 4:
Tenant Approval

Once a tenant is approved by the Enterprise City Council, the selected tenant is permitted to occupy the incubator for up to 90 days.
